In the summer of 2023, Eamonn began pursuing film and television work. The very first self-tape audition he submitted on Backstage landed him the titular role in Logan Levitt’s feature, “For David.” Since then, it has been a whirlwind of leading and major roles in dozens of shorts, TV shows, commercials, and features. Highlights include: playing John in Cherry Nin’s darkly poetic experimental short, Revolver Magic Wand, playing Terry in director Daisy Friedman’s heart-wrenching short, New Moon about one night of a man taking care of his father suffering from Alzheimers, and performing anonymously in director Zachary Bailey’s wildly experimental two-hander feature Clay Pigeon that envisions a reality bending new genre of cinema.

In 2001, Eamonn helped to found Anonymous Ensemble, with whom he has devised new works every year since. Over the decades, Anonymous Ensemble has developed a performance aesthetic called “live film” that uses cameras, projectors, and sophisticated digital technologies to create performances that are live, mediated, and uniquely interactive.
Eamonn has worked in experimental theater and digital performance for the past 25 years.. He has been a deviser, performer, assistant director, and video designer, and these roles have frequently overlapped. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with field-leading artists including Paul Lazar, Sarah Michelson, Paola Prestini, and Tony Kushner. For twenty years, he worked closely with the late Lee Breuer of Mabou Mines on numerous productions including every performance of the ten-year tour of Mabou Mines’ Dollhouse at festivals and major theaters in over thirty countries. Eamonn also originated the role of the Gentleman Caller / Vaslav in Mabou Mines’ Glass Guignol.

VOICE-OVER
In addition to working in theater and film, Eamonn has been a professional voice-over artist for the past fifteen years.
